Final Control Analysis of Metal Packaging

Many quality tests are carried out on the raw materials used before metal packaging is produced. After metal packaging production, some final controls are required. In general, the controls that should be carried out in metal packaging are as follows:

- Easy-open ends in metal packages are widely used, allowing consumers to easily access the contents. In order to facilitate this function, the separation points are thinned with a rounded line on metal box packages. It is important that this process is done correctly so that a metal package can be opened easily. Because as a result of faulty processes, a hard-to-open package that is not suitable for its function or a metal package that may cause the product to be affected by the external environment can be obtained.

- Another control carried out in metal packaging is the control of the distribution of the compound liner used to fill the empty spaces in a metal package where hermetic sealing is desired. Incorrect and uneven distribution of the primer applied to metal packaging may cause sewing problems and the risk of leakage.

- Another control applied last is the control of the ring added to the easy-open ends. Ease of use of the ring used to open the metal package, the force required to open the package, and 45o and 90o peeling analyzes are performed.
