Aging Testing in Packaging Products

Aging tests are performed to determine the expiry dates of the product packages before use. Aging Tests in Packaging Products are divided into two as Accelerated Aging Test and Real Time Aging Test.

The Accelerated Aging Test simulates real-time aging and shelf life by using high temperatures to artificially accelerate the wear and aging process of the packaging.

With the Real-Time Aging Test, under normal storage conditions packages have aging and shelf life in real time. Aging tests are important to determine the long shelf life of the packages and their durability in different storage conditions, whose task is to protect the product from environmental conditions and physical and chemical damages from outside.

With Aging Tests in Packaging Products, it is aimed to detect potential problems that may arise during shelf life and to protect consumer health.
