ASTM D5331 – 03

ASTM D5331 – 03 standard has been prepared mainly for the purpose of comparing the performance of binder films. However, it can also be used to determine the performance of packaging materials in different winding cycles.

With the test method, mechanical processes that may occur during transportation are simulated. The performance of stretch films can be determined in the test method prepared for forklift, grapple truck, crane and shovel lift type transport systems.

Test levels can be changed to accurately reflect known density levels for the specific unit load being tested.
