Bridge Impact Testing in Packages

Bridge Impact Testing is one of the packaging tests performed to determine the impact resistance of long packages close to their centers. During the storage and transportation process, long packages are more susceptible to adverse effects. Long packages are more likely to be damaged in transit. Bridge Impact Testing is performed to detect this situation beforehand and to determine the quality of the packaging.

Two different procedures can be applied within the scope of the Bridge Impact Testing.

  • Procedure A: With free fall tester
  • Procedure B: With simulated mechanical impact testing equipment

With the Bridge Impact Testing, product loss and possible damages are prevented. Customer satisfaction is ensured.
