ISO 2244

It specifies the horizontal impact test methods of fully filled transport packages within the scope of ISO 2244 standard. Horizontal impact test includes horizontal or inclined plane test and pendulum test.

This test method is carried out to determine the performance of a package or a unit load against horizontal impact. By simulating the impacts that a product may encounter during transportation and distribution processes, information about the adequacy of packaging can be obtained.
