Rotational Drop Testing

Rotational Drop Testing is performed using a measuring device and a flat, hard surface such as concrete or steel, by lifting one of the sides of the product 9 inches off the ground and then quickly releasing it to fall freely to the ground. Rotational Drop Testing, which is considered a shock test, requires the product to fall multiple times in predetermined directions.

According to Rotational Drop Testing, package types are classified according to the weight they will carry.
Type C : Parcel packed products 43 kg or more
Type E : Individually packed products 43 kg or more
Type F : Individually palletized packaged products
Type H : Individually packaged products with a circumference of 68 kg or more or greater than 4.19 m
