Plastic materials (including vinyl, PE, ABS, acrylic, polycarbonate, PET, HIPS and other synthetic materials), paints, coatings, textiles, inks, paper materials (cardboards and its varieties) and other materials subject to external degradation, used in packaging production, With the UV – Sun Fading Test, physical defects that may occur in packages during long-term use can be detected.
Accelerated UV Test determines the UV intensity and duration of 1 year, 2 years and above, depending on the product type, in accordance with the relevant standards and regulations. The products are kept in the UV cabinet during the specified processes. At the end of the process, an evaluation is made by comparing it with its initial state.
After the UV Test, besides the visual evaluation according to the product, the evaluation can be detailed with physical tests such as tensile-rupture test, drop test, pendulum test.
